The Wayuu Taya Foundation was created with the objective of improving the living quality of the indigenous communities in Latin America, maintaining and respecting their traditions, cultures and beliefs.
A devastating double earthquake (magnitudes 7.2 and 7.5) has struck northern Venezuela, causing widespread destruction across Caracas and surrounding states. Homes have collapsed, critical infrastructure has been damaged, and thousands of people have been displaced. Wayuu Taya Foundation is providing emergency food, safe drinking water, medical supplies, hygiene kits, and temporary shelter to help families survive the crisis and begin rebuilding their lives.
The sustainable local agroecology program for Apüna and Mirabello farms in the municipality of Mara in the state of Zulia is part of our vision to reach more people through the productive use of land, the use of natural resources, and respect for the environment.
